German made crystal receiver
Radio - Ruhrup (Bochum, Bahnhofstr, 33)

From my collection, don't really know anything about the manufacture but it's very well made with some features that distinguishes this set from most other crystal receivers. (1) the frequency range is determined by a plug-in coil assembly. (2) The crystal detector is a plug-in unit as well which is glass enclosed. The "Cat-Whisker" adjustment is performed by a complex series of external adjustments.

Year: 1920's?
Case/structure: wood/Phenolic
Finish: good - very good
Knobs/Hardware: original
Insides: very clean (see image)
Tuning type: inductance & capacitance
Electronic condition: never tested
Flaws, cracks, blems : see images
Measurements (approx): 8 x 4.5 x 4"
Shipping weight (estimated): 4#
