Lyric Radio (a Wurlitzer product)
model H, circa 1930

This is one of this companies first all electric console radios. This can be cautiously classified as somewhat rare as is most Wurlitzer radios. This is from my collection and is all original except that I  have electronically restored the chassis. The cabinet is in excellent condition, the finish is original and in reasonably good shape. That's not to say it's without some flaws as it does have some finish crazing (mostly on the top), some minor nicks and scratches but no gouges or deep scratches. The original tapestry grill cloth is original and in very good condition. The chassis is very clean and well shielded and has excellent performance. Wurlitzer, like Grebe is one of the few early companies that had the power transformer fused to protect it from being destroyed in case of a short circuit, very few companies offered this, including the "biggies" like RCA, Zenith & GE.

This is a small set, measuring only 39" high X 23" wide & 14" deep, actual weight is 72
