Above represents samples of some of the scales that I have re-mastered and print. Some are printed Gold or Silver foil with an adhesive backing. Back lighted dials are made on a translucent, laminated material. Non foil dials are laminated in clear plastic.

The "Trav-ler" example shown above is printed on Gold or Silver foil and the trim can be a color of your choice.

I can modify any of the ones I offer with color changes etc. I can create, custom dial scales. Feel free to contact me with any special request.

Unless otherwise noted, most of the non-foil single sided dials that are already re-mastered for printing are $35.00 including postage within the US & Canada. If done on foil, add $10.00.

WHAT I CAN DO:

Create, modify, re-master and print most any flat dial scale as long as it can be printed on paper, transparency or foil. Transparencies and foils are limited to what can be printed on 8.5 x 11" media. Laminated products are limited to 11 x 17".

Print and laminate both translucent or opaque dials. Foil and un-lamented prints will be coated with a protective coating to make them water and stain resistant.

Reconstruct and reprint broken or damaged dials that were done on flat glass and reproduce them on a transparency that can be applied to glass (I don't supply glass) or plastic. I can supply the finished product applied to (clear, translucent or opaque) plastic such as Lucite or Acrylic.

• Transparent overlay, these must be applied over (or under) a piece of glass or clear acrylic. I can supply the clear acrylic cut to the correct size for an additional $25.00. Be sure and read the following also:

• Transparency  A potential problem with the transparency type dials is the text, the originals where silk-screened with opaque paint. I can only print in ink or toner. This sometimes make a light color text too translucent with a light colored background behind the dial. Some dials may have a convex shape such as the "Charlie McCarthy" and the Airline 74BR1501. I can only make 'em flat. In most cases, this should not pose a problem.

• Laminated plastic, printed on high quality laser paper and laminated in plastic. These are semi translucent and will allow the back light (if present) to illuminate the dial.

• Formed Dials The original dial was formed to fit into the dial window area. With a little ingenuity and care you can make the flat dial work by simply mounting it flat. I know, this is not as good as an original but it's better than a busted or a badly damaged dial. Check your radio dial mounting area, if you don't think you can make the a flat dial work, please don't order it. I have left enough extra border space surface. It may be possible (your effort & risk) with a mold (which you will have to make) and heat applied.

• Multicolor on the reverse side, unlike other repro dials, I have taken the extra effort and made mine so the coloring on the reverse side highlights the band that is selected, just like the original. These colors do not show until back lighted.

• Foil I can print dial scales that were original done on embossed foil on flat gold or silver foil. This special foil is a bit speende' so I have to charge a bit more for 'em. They look great and usually will capture the embossed look (much like a photo will).
