This has to be one of Atwater Kent's most beautiful radios if not the most. Very handsome styling with several contrasting veneers and Birds Eye maple burl. One of the things that makes this radio special to me is the like new chassis. I did not spend hours cleaning and polishing it......no, it's been in this condition since new! A nine tube, super-het that featuring 4 band tuning (broadcast plus 3 short wave bands) with a dial mechanism that mechanically positions a new dial scale when the band is changed.
