Andrea 5" television

The "FADA" brand name were actually the initials of Mr. Frank Angelo D'Andrea. Mr. D'Andrea used "Andrea" as well as "FADA" as brand names for his radios & TV's. He started by building crystal detectors in the early 1920s. This is a 1938  factory built 5" electronic TV (this set was also available in kit form). The kit model had no cabinet and was supplied only with only a front panel. Has a two station channel selector: channel 1 and 2.
