< decal sticker for E.H. Scott
"Philharmonic" available
Offered as found, this fine example of one
of E. H. Scott's early chrome plated chassis receivers.
Excellent original condition, it does work
but like any early receiver it should have a proper electronics restoration
to make it safe for regular use and provide maximum performance.
The RF chassis appears to be pretty much all original. The
Amplifier chassis has had some capacitors replaced along with
some other minor under the chassis work. The cabinet is very
sound, no loose joints or veneer. The finish is quite good, only
a few minor scuffed and worn areas.
The chrome finish on the chassis is
excellent, only two tiny areas
of chrome pitting can be found. Otherwise exceptionally clean
and unmolested. Includes the complete set of RF coils (often
missing) and a package of original and copies of much paperwork
(including catalogs & the operation manual).
