This beautiful specimen is
the proud property of John Neuman who acquired it from a family member
of the original owner.
Circa
1928, a scarce model as only 7406 of these were produced. This was an
expensive set, priced at $550.00 when new, more than the price of some
automobiles at the time.
The
finish is all original and John has done a meticulous restoration of
the electronics. John tells me
(as I'm not fortunate enough to own one):
"This
thing is so heavy, I have to take it apart to move it around. The
power supply/amp chassis weighs 37 lbs, the speaker weighs 24 lbs. The
empty cabinet weighs around 120 lbs. It stands 55 inches high. It is
truly magnificent."
Beautiful
poster prints are available for
the Radiola 64.

Manuals, labels & other paper for the above and other RCA Radiola models are available. |
