Description (from Radiola promo material)

Radiola III - Is a high grade regenerative broadcast band receiver employing two WD-11 Radiotrons. One stage of audio frequency amplification is provided, with the embodiment of new discoveries for clearer, purer amplification.  Radiola III may be adapted to antennas of various lengths, and a choice of two types of tuning circuits afforded.  One is a sensitive singles tuning circuit and the other is a more selective circuit fro use when local interference is present.  The apparatus is mounted below a horizontal panel of moulded material, and is enclosed in  a solid mahogany case.  A flexible cable of generous length permits concealment of batteries on floor or elsewhere.

Battery operated regenerative receiver requiring headphones. For loudspeaker operation, refer to Radiola Balanced amplifier or Radiola IIIA.
