This is the Pride of my Radiola
collection, restoration was just completed on 1/8/2002 (including a
complete re-finish). The Radiola Super VIII is one of the first
Super-heterodyne receivers and RCA's first console radio. It's a self
contained set in that the cabinet housed the speaker (most were external
in 1924), a built-in antenna that could be rotated for best reception by a
control on the radio panel. It also has built-in battery storage. This is
a large set measuring 49" high, 25" wide and 19" deep at the bottom center
