The Radiola Grand had it's beginning with the Aeriola Grand, in fact when RCA redesigned the poor performing "Aeriola", the same cabinet was used on all the early versions, they simply placed a new decal over the old one on the remaining inventory. Note that on this set someone earlier has partially scraped away the Radiola decal, revealing the earlier "Aeriola" decal underneath. The "Aeriola's" worked so poorly that all that were sold were recalled and replaced with the "Radiola Grand" at no charge. This set has been in my collection for many years and I never got around to restoring it. It's 100% original and complete with all the original parts. Exceptionally clean, no rust, crud or any other undesirable stuff to clean out. The cabinet is in excellent condition, the original finish is in good condition but as with most, it has the usual crazing.
