In exceptionally nice condition, this is mutual conductance tester for testing consumer tubes of the 40's - 70's. Great for audiophiles, television and guitar amp servicing. It will not test the early pre-octal types (old large pin types from the 20s & early 30s. It will test nearly all types of tubes from the mid 1930s - 1970s including compactrons etc & large Magnovals. The B&K mutual conductance test is the same basic platform as used in Hickok tube testers.
The above has been serviced, calibrated and all functions thoroughly checked out. There are a number of socket savers installed and included as shown. The lid tube data chart was badly damaged on the comb binding side. I cut off the damaged area of all the pages. Then I reinforced 'em, laminated and comb-bound into book form. The owners manual is also included with sale.
