The Heathkit TC-2 is Heath's second generation tube tester. A basic emission tester but a bit better tester than most other brands in that it utilizes all tube elements in the test as others just use two. The TC-2 will test nearly all consumer tubes from the mid 1920's - 1960's including; big pin, octal, loctal, 7 & 9 pin miniature.  The newer tubes that came out in the early-mid 1960's, such as compactrons, and other newer special based tubes can only be tested with a newer version of this tester such as model IT-17 or IT-21.
