Hickok AC-51
early tube tester
A great tube tester for early guitar amps and early Hi-Fi well as
radios and other electronic gear from the 20s - early 50s.
The AC-51 will check all the early large pin tubes from the 1920s - mid '30s. It will also check most octal tubes up to the late 1940s. A very nice collectable tube checker for early tubes. One of the features is the vertical meter that was rarely seen after the mid 1930s. Although a 7 pin miniature socket has been added (appears to be done by factory), few such tubes can be tested because of lack of set-up data. Will not test 9 pin miniature tubes such as 12AX7s unless you build or find and adaptor..
