Hickok CA-5 test adaptor for model *539B Hickok tube tester.
This adaptor allows you to test the more modern
tubes that the "B" models does not have sockets for such as
compactrons, large novar and others.
I have replaced the original grid/plate lead
(that had hardened) with a new one of the proper type wire. I've cleaned, serviced and tested the above and
it works fine. Except for a small surface scratch near switch "C", it's cosmetically excellent. I include
the set-up manual for model 539B that includes general info for use
with other models. The manual does not include the setup data needed
to set up other model testers.
