A most
interesting tube tester, French made in the early - mid 1930's (I suspect). The
roll chart features American & European tubes from the early days;
(1920's) - to the mid 1930's. The left side of the roll chart shows US
tube settings, the right side are the European types.
I spent more than a week cleaning and
restoring this interesting piece of equipment. Unfortunately, I can't read
French and do not have the instruction manual but is does work. I tested a
201A but can't seem to test a 6L6 - (operator error)? As you can see from
the images, 7, 9, 10 and Loctal tube sockets have been added and it still
has one more blank space.
All original except the meter scale which is my
reproduction. I still have the badly warped original if wanted. My replica
turned out so well that I doubt anyone would know it's not original.
Be sure and look at the close up images of all areas
of the Lampemetre.
Offered AS-IS as a
collectors item, not recommended as a reliable instrument. |
