An excellent tester for early tubes up to the
mid 1930s and most octal based tubes. The Precision 800 is a seldom seen model. The precision line of tube testers are among the finest of
emission testers (my
opinion). Features Precision's cathode
conductance test method (their version of an
emission test).
This was made in the early-mid 1930s and will test all consumer tubes from the mid 1920's -
to around 1935
(4, 5, 6 & 7 big pin + octal tubes
The panel and insides are exceptionally clean,
the case show some wear and scuffs but nothing significant. A great tester for most pre-war tubes and
many post war, octal based tubes. WILL NOT TEST miniature or
loctal based tubes.
I have serviced and meticulously restored
this rare instrument. It is n excellent working order and I now offer
it for sale.
Includes my
re-mastered and improved tube chart
& operation instruction. (I
have improved this info by adding the component values and
their parts location ID).
