This was the last of the Royal 500 series that started in 1955. In
my opinion, the best sounding transistor, coat-pocket radio of all
time.
It features not only a fine, sensitive and selective circuit but a
unique, large oval speaker with a special designed off center
voice coil.
When I acquired this radio, the gold foil name plate was
missing (this is common on of this model). I made a
reproduction (and it's what you see in the second photo) and
I offer them for sale.
