Cushion washers for Zenith
and other radios
Call them spacer washers, donut washers, chassis
washers, shock
mount washers or simply thick rubber washers, what ever you call 'em,
they are necessary to do a complete and proper restoration especially
on Zenith & Philco radios. They fill the inside of chassis bolt hole and raise the chassis
slightly above the mounting panel (on consoles or the cabinet bottom
on table models). They not only lift the chassis so the knob shafts
don't rub the cabinet holes but also help center the dial assembly. Lifting the
chassis slightly also helps the chassis run a little cooler as the
space provides better ventilation.
