The reason I don't do evaluations is because there are too many variables and condition is a big factor when it comes to value. I have no way of knowing condition without seeing an item and knowing a lot of details. To learn all that I would spend way too much time with e-mails involved in images, questions back & forth to determine condition etc. If I got into the evaluation business, I wouldn't have much time for anything else. Having someone tell me verbally the condition of an item means nothing. We all have different standards as to what is good, very good, mint etc. Mint means like new, just out of the box, yet I've had things represented to me as "mint" that I would hardly classify as good.
