Zenith
model K412G "Owl Eyes"
A tiny little set, it looks as if it should be battery operated
but it only works on house current. This is unusual since the
tubes used it it are the same as found in the battery operated
radios of the era. An oddball circuit configuration indeed but
this was done because such tubes are low current and produce
practically no heat. This allowed the radio to be made very small
without the concern of overheating and self destruction as so many
other compact radios where so prone to do.
I'm offering this piece as found. It works fine but I have
not performed an work on it. No cracks or chips but some minor
paint flaws and wear. The painted "Zenith" lettering on the handle
is worn significantly.

Airline NEAR MINT CONDITION!
Tiny,
solid (unpainted) Ivory Plaskon
model 74BR-1502B
From my collection, one of the most perfect examples of a radio in
original condition that you will find.
This tiny set from 1939 is as nice as they come. It's just like it

have performed the usual
electronic restoration and it works
like a new radio.
Even the bottom paper label is near mint!

Another tiny set from my collection. Once advertised as the worlds

A very unusual radio that has only two tubes! In spite of that it
performs quite well when connected to a long wire antenna.
