Reproduction & Restoration Parts

I do not intend to go into the parts repro business but these are some things that I needed and others were not making, so if you're willing to pay the price, I'll make some for you.

Even though you may think my prices are high, the time involved in making these things is very time consuming. They are made one at a time and much time is spent hand detailing after release from the molds, and bear in mind that the molds, too, had to be made. So if I were doing this for wages, my pay would be pretty poor. Please allow extra time (week - 10 days) for many of the knobs etc to be fabricated as many are made to order.

Hats off to Larry Bordonado who do this as their main product and offer them at more reasonable prices.

Utah model 30 Speaker

reproduction feet

The original feet used on the beautiful Utah 30 Speaker often suffers from pot metal cancer. Over the years I made and sold a number of pairs of my reproduction feet. My mold has now given out and when this pair is gone, there will be no more. I promise that when these are installed, no one will be able to tell that they are reproductions. The ones on my model 30 speaker are my first pair that I made about 16 years ago.

These are cast from a mold made from an original pair of feet. The material is a high quality industrial resin and bronze powder that looks just like the originals. I have one set left and I will not be making any more.

The Radiola 60 often suffered from bad feet that have swollen, cracked or disintegrated from moisture. The originals were made of solid wood or Repwood that often split and came apart. The Repwood  would absorb moisture and deteriorate.

These are cast from a mold made from an original set of feet. The material is a high quality industrial resin and wood flour that looks just like the originals. I have one set left and I will not be making any more.

Lamp Hood

Here's what many of you have been seeking, my hood is the correct size and looks more authentic. Unlike the soft metal one that was previously supplied by another source available that mounted poorly by nails that you had to bend (often damaging the hood) and then hung loose unless glued in place, mine is made of a special rigid compound with a real bronze metal finish and mounted with two tiny screws.
