NORCO 2- Panel (Kit?) Circa 1923
Amplifier/Detector panel 3
The above appears to be a kit or possibly an early lab prototype as there are no markings on either panel to indicate the manufacturer but it's easy to determine that it's clearly a NORCO.
Northwestern Radio Manufacturing Co. of Portland, OR
NORCO was first associated with Northwestern Radio Manufacturing Co., one of Portland's finest & earliest radio manufacturing companies in the early days of radio. They tooled and machined most of their own parts including the knobs, panels, transformers and dials. Their last model was made in 1925, a 4 dial, slope panel battery set, NORCO model 77. the company went out of business around 1929.
