Circa 1954, Crosley's only entry in the transistor market and although it was marketed as a transistor radio, it's really a hybrid. It contains 3 sub-miniature tubes and 2 transistors. There are a total of 7 different titles in this series, each a different color and title. There were very few radios made with the use of sub-miniature tubes and are quite scarce as the transistors were coming on the scene during this period. The measurements are: 7X4.5X2", weight: 1.75 lb. w/o batteries. Battery requirements: 45 volt "B" & special 4 volt "A" battery. See my page on The Subminiature Tube.
