Pla-Pal ca: 1934

The Pla-Pal "Poker Radio" utilizes a 4 tube AC/DC, TRF circuit, which requires and external "long wire" antenna. It features the dreaded Hot Chassis with series strung filaments. It also employ's another undesirable element; the filament dropping resistor in the line resistance line cord.

Both dial areas are back lit with simple pointer on the tuning knob indicator. The "Poker Radio" gets it's name from the complement of booze containers, glasses, playing cards, dice and poker chips. Everything gentlemen need for an evening of vice except the women.
