using the same electronic circuitry as used in the 1937
model 4500. Not a
super-het, it's 2 stage TRF! Other unusual circuitry features a
power transformer with series filaments!
Manufactured by Colonial Radio, a major
manufacturer of Sears Radios. The colonial brand is not commonly
seen as the majority of their production went to Sears. It appears
in the 1937 Sears radio Catalog and was listed at $12.95.
