The Olympic 445 is a typical mid 1950s AC/DC/Battery portable tube radio, often referred to as a "Beach Radio". A four tube super-het with selenium rectifier. Battery requirements; 90 volts "B" & 3 volt "A".
The Olympic 445 looks almost identical to its sibling, Transistor type; model 447 but that's where the difference ends. Click/tap the '447 page to see the differences.
