Early tube tester
click/tap any image to enlarge
Made before the octal based tubes. This beautiful and rather scarce counter top tube tester was made to test only the 4 or 5 pin, early big pin tubes made during the 1920s - early '30s. The tubes it will test have an individual marked sockets. The smaller circular gage on the right of the large meter will light up with a big "SHORT" notation if a tube is shorted. Very clean, no damage or significant blemishes and appears to be in good working order. Since I have not serviced it. I'm offering as found/as-is as a collectable item that's not of much utilitarian value. Measures 17.5 (length) x 14" (tall at
rear) 9" (wide) |
