Olympic model 447 ca: 1957

The Olympic 447 was the companies' first all transistor radio and the little sister of Olympic model 445. The '447 is nearly identical to the '445 tube radio in its outward appearance.

Its apparent the company was in such a hurry to get a transistor model on the market, not only did they incorporate the use of the earlier cabinet, they used the same chassis (with the tube sockets stuffed with transistors) as well!. The similarities are quite familiar when you look on the insides, click/tap > Olympic 445 page and check it out!
